Darkness envelopes me
Its loneliness caresses me
The coolness of nothingness.
A faint light appears
Far off like a firefly
Steady and slow
My eyes adjust as your light fills this place
The coolness is fading
The loneliness abates
Hands sweat as my mouth goes dry
The sounds of a beach lit by driftwood
The roar of consumption
Like a moth to the flame
I am drawn to you
And then your touch...
Which sets me ablaze
