Were I laden with wealth and fame,
And countless treasures of many names,
I would still maintain my stance,
That I loved you at first glance.

My voice has sang your name at night.
Your eyes have been my guiding light.

Let my hands caress your face.
Offer me yourself in haste.
View me as I stand for you.
Ever be my Lover true.

Flame has tempered my desire.
Over time I do so tire.
Resolve is what drives me now,

My knee to failure will never bow.
Every man will meet his end,

Though with Death I will contend,
Outstanding will be my debt.
My life in hell I'll gladly bet.
Offer my flesh to the Sun,
Resign myself to be undone.
Reaffirming my life's pledge
Of Love around you like a hedge.
Willing will I cast aside,

Every ounce of life and pride,
Verily, to be with you
Enduring all, my heart stands true.
